Wine Tourism Observatory

The Instituto Nacional de Vitivinicultura (INAVI) was created in November 10, 1987, as a person of non-state public law, to execute the national wine policy.聽 It has the role of being the governing organism of the national wine policy.聽

聽It is headquartered in the city of Las Piedras, Canelones, Uruguay.聽The Observatory is an on-line platform, developed by Fx2, where Uruguayan wineries can access to obtain information and statistics about their visitors and the development of the industry.聽It is a tool that works 100% in the cloud and can be accessed from any mobile device, only those users who have permission to do so.聽

For its development, technologies aligned with state policies were used, with a strong focus on security and information processing, to guarantee the confidentiality and quality of data at any time.

This innovative tool was promoted by the Ministry of Tourism, INAVI (National Institute of Viticulture) and ANTEL, and its main objective is to better understand wine tourism, generate new promotion policies and help to improve the comprehension of the demand.聽聽
